Portfolio Tasting with Trione Vineyards

Join us at our tasting bar to sample wines from longtime Sonoma grape grower and winery, Trione Vineyards. This store favorite has a long track record of well-made, small-production wines from Sonoma County that consistently out-perform.

Replay Lounge Canned Cocktail Tasting

Friday, April 12th, 2024, 5pm to 7pm

When Covid shuttered the bars, Downtown Lawrence's own Replay Lounge began selling cocktails to-go, simply to keep staff employed and the lights on. Their batched cocktails were such a success, that when the "lost years" were over, the Replay turned their RTD (ready-to-drink) program into a whole new business. Join us, with Replay owner Nick Carroll, at the tasting bar to sample his four new premium canned cocktails and toast this home-grown success story.

Wine Education

Would you like to learn more about what's in your glass? Let us share some of what we've learned after more than 20 years in the fine wine industry. Our classes are small, from 8-10 people, and are held in our tasting (class) room. Sessions are presented in easy-to-understand formats, suitable for wine nerds and wine novices alike.

In addition to open classes, we also offer private instruction to groups up to 10 people. Classes may be tailored to specific wine regions, wine styles or grape varietals or simply focus on subjects like tasting technique, sensory analysis or food & wine pairing.

As an added bonus, class attendees receive 10% off wine purchases--15% for CWM Club Members--the day of the class (excluding NFD items).

Sensory Analysis

Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 7pm to 9pm

This class explores the complex aromas of wine. With the help of grapes (and their chemistry), fermentation, and aging, wine has the unique ability to mimic thousands of smells. After discussing the Hows and Whys, we will conclude with a guided tasting, to experience these olfactory wonders first-hand.
